VE3APL location is on a 72' tower belonging to John, VE3KBT near Apsley and is linked during the day to VE3PBO, VE3CKL & VE3BUY. Repeater system and antenna was purchased by PARC from Randy, VE3RWN in 2019.
5/8 wavelength mobile coverage.
VE3APL has been fully repaired from damaged it incurred due to a lightning strike. Antenna has since been replaced with a 2-bay Sinclair dipole and a new connector installed on the cable. A ceramic capacitor in one of the cavaties was replaced and cavities retuned.
VE3APL also uses a System Fusion repeater that is is capable of receiving both analogue FM and C4FM digital but set to re-transmit everything analogue.
Auto in/Analogue out only
